Fox News can see the ratings decline just like everyone else can. While Glenn Beck still has good ratings, Fox is realizing what the trend is, and according to insiders, they’re thinking about not renewing his contract this year.
If that happens, more than likely, Beck will wind up going to some smaller outfit who would be happy to have him for what ratings he has left, even if the trend is down, down, down, and they’d figure they’d get the boon for at least a little while. Maybe someone like CNN.
The only thing for certain is that the ratings boon, declining as it is, certainly doesn’t come along with an advertising boon, as advertisers seem to want to have nothing to do with him.
